Fairness Checker

Enter the same bet's decimal odds from two different sources. Fairdeal Betting shows you which is better value, the margin gap in implied probability, and a relative fairness score — with the maths in the open.

The maths, in the open

# implied probability of a decimal odd implied% = 100 / odds # the fairer price is the higher decimal odd value_gap% = (best − worst) / worst × 100 # relative fairness of the worse line (best = 100) fairness = worst / best × 100

Higher decimal odds return more for the same outcome, so they imply a lower probability and carry less margin against you. The fairness score is relative to the better of the two prices you enter.

How to use it well

  • Always compare the same market and selection — e.g. the same team to win the same match.
  • Use decimal odds (e.g. 1.90, 2.50). Convert fractional odds first if needed.
  • A small percentage gap adds up fast across many bets — that's the point of shopping for value.
